Therapist-informed coaching

You understand yourself. You're still stuck.

You've done the therapy. Read the books. You have language for all of it. And you're still reacting, still spiralling, still waiting for something to finally shift. This is where that changes.

Kathleen McBride

"I understand myself better than most people ever will. So why can't I stop reacting from the same old wounds?"

If that sentence landed somewhere real — you're in exactly the right place. The people I work with are self-aware, high-functioning, and deeply frustrated that insight hasn't been enough.

The overthinkerYou can trace every pattern back to its origin. You've done the work. You still spiral, still react, still can't quite trust yourself to act from your own knowing.
The self-abandonerYou give endlessly to others, say yes when you mean no, and know exactly why you do it. And you still can't seem to stop. Not for long.
The anxious achieverFrom the outside, you have it together. On the inside, you're running on fear, urgency, and a deep sense that something is still not quite right.
The messy middleYou're in a season of change — relationship, career, identity — and the uncertainty feels unbearable. You want to make decisions from clarity, not panic.
The pattern-awareYou know your attachment style, your wounds, your triggers. But knowing and changing are two different things. You're ready for the second one.
The almost-thereYou've been getting better. Slowly. But you're tired of how long it's taking and you're ready to go deeper, with proper support, for real.

About Kathleen

I spent years understanding myself.
This is what actually changed things.

For most of my adult life I looked like I had it together. I understood my patterns. I had the language for all of it. And I still couldn't stop reacting, couldn't stop people pleasing, couldn't trust myself to make a decision without asking everyone around me first.

The shift didn't come from more insight. It came from doing the actual work — the nervous system work, the parts work, the inner child work. Learning to be with the parts of me that were scared rather than trying to outsource them to everyone else. That's the work I now do with every single client.

I bring real lived experience and serious professional training to every session. Coach and counsellor. 5+ years. 100+ clients. Experience in complex mental health settings. This isn't textbook coaching.

Learn about HEAL

You don't need more information.
You need integration.

You already understand your patterns. You've collected the insight. What hasn't happened yet is the integration — the moment understanding becomes something you actually live differently.

That's what changes in this work. Not more theory. Not more journaling prompts. Actual change — in how you regulate, respond, trust yourself, and show up.

This is depth work. Nervous system work. Integration work.

Kathleen is incredible. She always meets you where you're at. I felt so deeply accepted and safe to show up as myself. My biggest transformation has been trusting that I can be there for myself when big feelings come up — instead of needing other people to comfort me. My self-critical voice has become so much quieter.
